Left / Right Speaker Test

Use this simple speaker test to check whether the left and right audio channels are working correctly before buying, selling, renting, repairing, or setting up a PC.

Status: Click the left or right circle button to start the sound test.

How to use

  1. Set your computer volume to a safe and comfortable level.
  2. Click the Left Speaker button. The sound should come mainly from the left speaker or left side of your headphones.
  3. Click the Right Speaker button. The sound should come mainly from the right speaker or right side of your headphones.
  4. If both sounds come from the same side, check your speaker cable, Windows sound balance, Bluetooth device, or audio output setting.
  5. If there is no sound, confirm that the correct playback device is selected and the browser tab is not muted.

This tool runs directly in your browser. For best results, disconnect other audio devices and test with the actual speakers or headphones you want to check.
