Fn key note: Most browsers cannot directly detect the laptop Fn key. To test Fn key functionality, hold Fn + volume key, such as Fn + 🔊. If the system volume changes or the volume function works, your Fn key combination is likely working.

How to use

  1. Choose the visual keyboard type that best matches your keyboard.
  2. Click inside the typing box and press the keys you want to check.
  3. Confirm that each detected key highlights on the visual keyboard and appears in the test results.
  4. For Fn, hold Fn and press a volume key.
  5. Select Reset Test to clear all results and start again.

Troubleshooting

If a key is not detected, click the typing box again, check your keyboard connection, and try the key in another application. Browser and system shortcuts may not appear as normal typed characters.
