How to use
- Click Allow Webcam and allow camera access when your browser asks for permission.
- If you are using a laptop, the built-in webcam should start. If you are using an external USB webcam, make sure it is connected first.
- Look at the live preview and confirm that your face, document, or nearby object appears clearly and smoothly.
- Check the webcam name and resolution shown below the preview to confirm the correct camera is active.
- If the preview does not appear, close apps such as Zoom, Teams, Skype, or camera software that may already be using the webcam, then try again.
- Click Stop Webcam when you finish testing to turn the camera off immediately.
Troubleshooting: If the camera does not start, check browser site permission, confirm that the webcam is connected properly, close other applications that may already be using the camera, and refresh the page if needed. Some browsers only reveal the device name after permission is granted.
