How to use
Use this browser-based test before meetings, online classes, calls, streaming, or a PC handover.
- Click Allow Microphone and allow microphone access in your browser prompt.
- Speak normally and confirm that the visualizer moves when sound is detected.
- Select Start Recording, speak for a few seconds, then select Stop Recording. Recording stops automatically after 30 seconds.
- Play the recording and listen for clear volume, noise, or distortion.
- Select Stop Microphone when you are finished.
Troubleshooting
If the visualizer does not move, check the selected input device, browser permission, mute switch, and system input volume. Close apps that may already be using the microphone, then try again.

This microphone test runs in your browser. We do not store your microphone recordings. Recordings are temporary and are removed when the page is closed or refreshed unless you choose to share them yourself.
