How to use

Use this test before buying, selling, renting, repairing, or setting up a PC.

  1. Set your computer volume to a safe, comfortable level.
  2. Select Left Speaker, then Right Speaker. Each sound should come mainly from the matching side.
  3. Use the music player for a longer listening check, then select Stop when finished.

Troubleshooting

If there is no sound, confirm that the correct playback device is selected and the browser tab is not muted. If both sounds come from the same side, check the cable, sound balance, Bluetooth device, or output settings.

This tool runs directly in your browser. For best results, disconnect other audio devices and test with the actual speakers or headphones you want to check.
